By all appearances, the house Darwin Linn owned in Villisca, Iowa, was unoccupied – at least by people in this world. Linn owned what is known as the Ax Murder House, where eight people were slain in 1912. The house has become a popular stop for the curious and paranormal investigators. Linn died Friday at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, according to his wife, Martha. He was 74.
