17 Hundred 90 Hotel
For thousands of visitors every year, Savannah is a walk back through American history. Savannah's historic district, the nation's largest, is an architectural diorama of America's 13 th colony. Hidden within the city's Spanish moss draped majestic oaks, and other natural treasures lies 17 Hundred 90, Savannah's oldest inn.

The Ghost Story
Anna Powers fell in love with a married seaman sometime in the early 1800's. She is said to have thrown herself to her own death from the third floor balcony onto the brick courtyard below just as the sails of his ship left her sight down the Savannah river toward sea.
Since then her ghost is still believed to be haunting the inn, and primarily room 204. Many of the guests as well as employees have told of strange events occurring which have been attributed to the lonely heart of Anna Powers still waiting for her lover to return.
The 17 Hundred 90 Hotel is located at: 307 E. President St., Savannah GA. 31401.
